hey, is that sybil vane as in the dead fiancée of Dorian Gray? you wouldn't happen to be a former student of mine, would you... :-)
I teach Wilde every year without fail. Though it's interesting to me that you choose sibyl vane as your i.d. Rather nihilistic, don't you think?
Wilde has a gorgeous short story called 'The Nightingale and the Rose' where he explores the Sybil Vane approach to life a little more. You can get the text off the internet if you google it. It has moved a few students of mine.
